Powerplay

Powerplay Terms and Conditions: Plain-Language Summary

Who Can Play

You must be of legal gambling age in your province to open a Powerplay account: 19 in most provinces and territories, 18 in Alberta, Manitoba and Quebec. You must also be in a location where online gambling with us is permitted. Availability can vary by province.

Each person may hold one account. Duplicate accounts, accounts opened on someone else's behalf, or false registration details can lead to closure and forfeited winnings.

Your Account and Verification

You're responsible for keeping your login details private. We'll ask for identity documents, and sometimes proof of address or payment ownership, before processing withdrawals and occasionally at other times. This is required to prevent fraud and money laundering.

Keep your personal details up to date. Mismatched names between your account and your payment method are a common cause of withdrawal delays.

Deposits, Withdrawals and Currency

Accounts are held in CAD. The minimum deposit is $10 CAD and the minimum withdrawal is $10 CAD. Accepted methods are Interac, Visa, Mastercard, Paysafecard, MuchBetter and crypto through Cryptopay. Where possible, withdrawals are returned to the method you used to deposit.

Processing times depend on the method and on completing verification. We may ask you to wager deposited funds at least once before withdrawing, to prevent misuse of the cashier.

Bonuses and Promotions

The welcome offer is a 100% match on your first deposit up to $1,000 CAD. Every promotion has its own terms, including wagering requirements, eligible games, maximum bet limits and expiry dates. Those specific terms apply alongside these general ones.

Abusing bonuses, for example through coordinated play, multiple accounts or betting patterns designed to exploit offers, can result in the bonus and related winnings being removed.

Sports Betting Rules

Bets are accepted at the odds shown when your bet slip is confirmed. Settlement follows the official result as defined in our sportsbook rules. For example, many hockey markets settle on regulation time unless the market says it includes overtime and shootouts.

Obvious pricing errors and bets placed after an event has started, where that wasn't intended, may be voided.

Closing or Suspending an Account

You can close your account at any time through support or the responsible gaming tools. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, and we'll return any legitimate balance after the necessary checks.

These terms may be updated from time to time. If a change materially affects you, we'll notify you before it takes effect.
